Blog Post 5: A Photo and Its Story

Imagen
Hi Everyone, This photo is special since it was taken the first time I traveled to Peru and I met my whole family who lives there. I think I mentioned it in a previous blog, but my whole family is of Peruvian nationality. My parents traveled separately very young to Chile in search of new opportunities, they met here and I was born :) I mean, my whole family lives Perú and I didn't know them until I traveled. I went in 2010 and I was 8 years old  with the reason that my grandmother was sick. The reason was sad, but deep down I was happy because my family filled me with love and I felt very spoiled. It was also the first time he had traveled by plane. I was a little scared :( When I traveled I saw new and very beautiful places, but in the photo I was in the center of the city of Lima. In the center of Lima is the government palace, the cathedral, the main square and other heritage sites. That day I was very excited and they took a lot of funny photos of me. I dre...

Blog Post 4: A Meal or Food You Really Like

Hi everyone, I think there is nothing more delicious for the palate and easier to prepare than French Fries. We all know about french fries, but they are basically finely cut, fried and crispy potatoes. They can be served with mayonnaise, ketchup, or mustard. (I like them without anything haha) To prepare you need: potatoes and salt. The potatoes are peeled, then cut into several slices and then cut into thin lines to make a large portion. I really love french fries, I don't know why I always crave them, I can't say no. They are so versatile that they can be taken with any other meal or on their own and they are always delicious, especially those prepared at home. They are wonderful until I remember how much oil it takes to make them and how much they absorb. They are not good fo...

Blog Post 3: My favorite piece of technology

Imagen
Hi everyone, My favorite piece of technology is television because is versatile thanks to the fact that most currently come with the "Smart" function. I always wanted a Smart TV  and my mom bought it a long time after they came out with that technology, we had the normal ones. When it got home I was happy because I can use it for various activities. With Smart TV I can watch movies and series on Netflix, listen to music on YouTube at full volume when I do my activities, I can watch videos or just watch national shows as an old woman to feel accompanied.   Before the pandemic, television was irrelevant for me, I preferred to go out or did not have time to watch it. But since the quarantine began, television was a companionship and it began to have more importance than I thought.  When I have nothing to do, I can spend hours watching a Netflix series and despite the bad reputation that Chilean television programs have, I still watch some in an objective way to analyze...
