Blog Post 7: An expert in my field who I admire

Hi everyone, A person that I admired in my "field" was Felipe Camiroaga. Felipe camiroaga was born on October 8, 1966 in Santiago and died on October 2, 2011 in a tragic plane crash in A rchipelago Juan Fernández. He was an animator on several iconic Chilean television programs. Some examples are "Animal Nocturno" and the "Festival de la Canción de Viña del Mar". One of the most important in his career, the morning show "Buenos días a todos."  Years ago, this television program was the favorite and always led in views by viewers. Felipe Camiroaga was not a journalist by profession. But when animating the morning show, he had a unique charisma. Hi everyone, Journalism can make the world a much better place for many reasons This profession allows to make visible situations that happen day by day, injustice and give voice to those who do not have it to be heard before the world.   It also informs and educates the population by delivering news on current issues or of interest. Without journalism, people would not be able to connect, not there would be no media or they would know what is happening around them. They would only be able to see their reality and not that of others. In a pandemic, journalism has been essential to report the negative effects of the coronavirus and how it has affected the whole world. As a result journalism has taken a lot of prominence.
