Blog Post 3: My favorite piece of technology

Hi everyone,

My favorite piece of technology is television because is versatile thanks to the fact that most currently come with the "Smart" function. I always wanted a Smart TV  and my mom bought it a long time after they came out with that technology, we had the normal ones. When it got home I was happy because I can use it for various activities. With Smart TV I can watch movies and series on Netflix, listen to music on YouTube at full volume when I do my activities, I can watch videos or just watch national shows as an old woman to feel accompanied. 

 Before the pandemic, television was irrelevant for me, I preferred to go out or did not have time to watch it. But since the quarantine began, television was a companionship and it began to have more importance than I thought. 

When I have nothing to do, I can spend hours watching a Netflix series and despite the bad reputation that Chilean television programs have, I still watch some in an objective way to analyze them with the content that they teach me in my professional career.

I don't recommend the use of television very much because is a sedentary activity and many times they deliver fake news and sometimes it is better to find out about social networks since they better show reality. But using their apps can be good company or a way to get through the boredom.
