Post 6 : Time travel to the future
Hi everyone,
The truth is, the
future scares me. I am afraid of generating expectations of things that will
not be fulfilled or knowing what my reality will be like in a few more years. I
would prefer a thousand times to travel to the past and change some actions.
But if I have to choose, I would travel to the future 15 more years and see how
Chile is doing in 2036. Why?
At that time I
would be 34 years old, I think that I was mature enough to understand my life
even more and what happens around me. I would be living my adult life and maybe
trying to fulfill all my dreams. Along these lines, I believe that the world is
currently very dangerous in all areas and Chile is no exception. The
authorities that dominate us make it very bad and among us as a society we harm
ourselves through our sayings, actions, among others.
That is why I
would like to see how the country evolves, to know if a change was ever made,
if people are calmer, if the authorities listened to the demands of the
population. I hope to see a Chile with less inequality and violence, with more
opportunities and less discrimination.
I would also like
to know if I achieve some of my goals, work on what I like and get a home of my
own.
Although it sounds nice, I would not want to stay there. I prefer to live the process from now on and be part of the change. Also in 15 years, my mom and my dog would be very old, thinking about that makes me very sad.
I would be so sad if your dog misses you! It's interesting to think about the future, but our time is now and we can't change that.

I hope that, as you say, by that time there will be much less violence and more equality, and that the authorities will have listened to people's demands.
ResponderEliminarHi Constanza, in the future, I would also like to see a Chile with less inequality and more opportunity for all, I hope in our old age we will live a better reality :)
ResponderEliminarI hope that all the changes that we have fought for in the future Chile will be a reality as you say. I tend to be optimistic, I think it can be so!
ResponderEliminarHi Coni! How brave of you to travel to a relatively near future, I would panic!
ResponderEliminarHi Coni! I'm also really afraid of seeing the future because a lot of reasons. I would also be very sad to see my family being really old. But time is inevitable, and we have to face it eventually :(
